The role of the Support Specialist at Keeneland is a vital part-time position that serves as a frontline representative of the Information Center. Job Duties

  • Serve as receptionist for the Ticket Office and Keeneland, greeting visitors and taking messages
  • Execute frontline public relations and customer service to customers, patrons, and vendors
  • Operate telephone to receive incoming and place outgoing calls
  • Possess knowledge of Keeneland employees, departments, and duties
  • Maintain recall of events, dates, meetings, and activities at Keeneland and its locations
  • Resolve situations requiring quick decisions when involved parties are unavailable
  • Answer general questions concerning Keeneland and the Lexington area
  • Receive and log Keeneland comments or requests, disseminating them to appropriate persons or departments
  • Perform various clerical duties for all Keeneland departments as needed
  • Respond to general customer service emails as needed
  • Assist ticketing team with patron questions on ticket types, pricing, and experience
  • Assist with basic ticket functions including payment, re-printing, and refunds
  • Assist with Will Call as needed and directed
  • Review, assist, and coach seasonal staff
  • Contribute to a work environment that encourages teamwork and respect for coworkers
