The resort offers a wide range of amenities including spacious guest rooms, fine dining options, recreational facilities, and event spaces, making it a sought-after destination for leisure and business travelers alike. Hyatt is recognized globally for fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace culture where employees are valued and encouraged to grow professionally. Employees at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines benefit from the support of a global brand dedicated to innovation, quality, and guest satisfaction.
The role of the In-Room Dining (IRD) Specialist at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines is a vital part of the guest experience. This on-call position is responsible for ensuring that guests enjoy delicious meals delivered conveniently to their rooms, enhancing the overall stay with friendly and personalized service. The IRD Specialist acts as the liaison between the kitchen and the guest, taking orders with enthusiasm and accuracy while providing timely and courteous service. Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is required, and candidates must be at least 21 years old to comply with hotel policies. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to engage warmly with guests and meet their needs efficiently.
In this position, you will be expected to take and upsell guest room service orders, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment as you clear floors and landings. Versatility is also key, as the role involves assisting other departments when needed, reflecting a collaborative team environment. The ability to engage in casual conversation with guests adds a personal touch that elevates the dining experience, fostering guest satisfaction and loyalty. Additional responsibilities include general preparation and maintenance duties such as removing serving trays and ensuring guest areas remain tidy. Working as part of Hyatt’s dedicated food and beverage team, you will contribute to maintaining the brand’s high standards for quality and service excellence. Employees in this role enjoy opportunities for career growth and advancement through Hyatt’s commitment to promoting from within, supported by ongoing training and skills development programs. Benefits include discounted room nights, free parking, financial perks like 401(k), employee assistance programs, and meals in the cafeteria. Joining Hyatt Regency Lost Pines not only means becoming part of a prestigious hospitality brand but also enjoying a supportive work environment that values each individual’s contribution.
