The Operations Supervisor position at ID Logistics US is a pivotal role designed for individuals who excel in coordinating team workflows and managing operational excellence on the ground. This position is strategic to ensuring the smooth functioning of daily logistics activities, including the assignment of tasks, staff support, performance monitoring, and communication with senior management. The supervisor acts as an essential link between employees and upper management, fostering a positive work environment while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and efficiency standards. The role demands a proactive approach in process improvement initiatives and the setting of tangible team targets to enhance productivity. Supervisors are also pivotal in coaching team members, resolving conflicts, and maintaining high standards of operational performance. This is an on-site role with a 4/10 day shift schedule, offering an attractive annual salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 plus bonuses. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with some college level study is required
  • 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suites experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
  • Lean six sigma experience a plus
  • Inventory experience a plus
  • Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus

Job Duties

  • Promote a safe environment for the customer’s product, associates, and temporary workers
  • Follow established operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
  • Provide 100% customer satisfaction
  • Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates
  • Help maintain attendance and tardiness records
  • Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures
  • Investigate accidents and prepare reports
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and training needed to ensure associate skills are maintained at desired levels
  • Help coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers, complaints and associate concerns productivity and quality of work
  • Oversee associates
  • Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for food grade warehouse
