Job Description
Robert Madden Industries, LTD. is a distinguished heating and air conditioning wholesale distributor with a rich history spanning over 40 years. Established in 1979, this family-owned company has grown to serve multiple locations throughout Texas, offering an extensive selection of high-quality HVAC equipment and supplies. The brands carried include renowned names such as Carrier, Bryant, Payne, and Day and Night, catering to both residential and commercial customers. Despite its expansion, Robert Madden Industries has retained the personalized, family-oriented service that initially defined its legacy. The company’s commitment to excellence, reliability, and customer satisfaction has cemented its reputation as a trusted leader in the HVAC wholesale industry across Texas. Their comprehensive inventory and knowledgeable staff ensure that customers receive the right products and support tailored to their specific heating and cooling needs.
The HVAC Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver position at Robert Madden Industries is a critical and versatile role designed to support the smooth and efficient operation of the company’s warehouse and delivery functions. This hybrid role combines hands-on warehouse tasks with the responsibilities of delivering HVAC products safely and timely to customers. The successful candidate will be entrusted with receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, organizing and managing inventory, preparing customer orders, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. On the delivery side, the associate will handle loading and unloading of equipment, planning and optimizing delivery routes considering traffic and weather conditions, and providing exceptional customer service during deliveries. Additionally, routine maintenance of both HVAC equipment and delivery vehicles will be part of the job to ensure operational reliability.
This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment where attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and time management are paramount. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is essential due to the driving responsibilities, which include operating 18-foot box trucks or 24-foot stake beds. Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects regularly is required, as the role involves frequent manual handling of HVAC equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. Candidates with prior warehouse experience, knowledge of HVAC products, and forklift certification or willingness to obtain one will find themselves particularly suited for this role. Basic computer skills are also necessary to manage inventory records and delivery documentation efficiently.
Working as an HVAC Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver at Robert Madden Industries offers a unique opportunity to be part of a long-standing, family-owned company that values integrity, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. This multifaceted position presents a balanced blend of warehouse and delivery duties, allowing employees to engage in varied daily tasks and contribute meaningfully to the company’s operational success. Join Robert Madden Industries and be part of a team dedicated to quality and service excellence in the HVAC wholesale distribution industry.
