Job Description
Harvest Restaurant Group is currently seeking a career-minded Sous Chef to work alongside our Chef de Cuisine at one of our Harvest Concepts. From casual, American Tavern to high-end Steakhouse, come grow your skill set with Harvest Restaurants! Our locations take pride in exceeding our customers' expectations from the moment they walk in our doors, and every member of the Harvest family partakes in this. Harvest Restaurant Group has 13 properties throughout Northern NJ, including various dining concepts like Huntley Taverne, Trap Rock Brewery, 3West Restaurant, Grato Restaurant, Roots Steak House, Roots Ocean Prime, Agricola, Tabor Road Tavern, Addams Tavern, and Catering and Events.
Job Requirements
- 2-4+ years of Sous Chef experience in an upscale casual dining or fine dining environment
- the ability to interpret and manage recipes to ensure compliance and minimize waste
- strong broiler skills are required
- an excellent attention to detail
- passion for Culinary and Mentorship
