The company prides itself on fostering an environment where associates are encouraged to maximize their potential by providing a differentiated and memorable experience to guests while simultaneously achieving impressive financial performance. Meyer Jabara Hotels stands out for its commitment to quality, employee development, and community involvement, making it a dynamic and rewarding workplace for hospitality professionals.

At Meyer Jabara Hotels, the role of Housekeeping Supervisor is pivotal to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and operational excellence within the housekeeping department. This supervisory position requires a candidate who is not only focused on maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards but who is also skilled in managing the day-to-day operations of the department. The Housekeeping Supervisor works closely with the Director of Sales (DOS) and Assistant Director of Sales (Assistant DOS) to ensure smooth administrative operations, participate in special projects, and uphold the company's quality and budgetary goals.

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the training and performance of all housekeeping associates, ensuring that every team member is knowledgeable in the proper handling of cleaning equipment and chemicals. This role includes conducting regular inspections of assigned areas, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining Safety Operating Procedures (SOPs) to sustain high operational standards. Moreover, the supervisor handles key control policies, manages overtime through effective scheduling, and swiftly addresses any guest concerns related to housekeeping.

Safety and preventive maintenance are also key focus areas. The Housekeeping Supervisor collaborates with the Engineering Department to guarantee that rooms and equipment receive consistent maintenance, helping to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment for both associates and guests. The role requires a hands-on leadership style, emphasizing cleanliness, team training, associate hygiene, and prompt problem resolution.

Candidates for this position should have prior hotel housekeeping experience and must have demonstrated supervisory capabilities. A strong command of English is essential, with bilingual abilities considered an asset. The job physically demands stamina, including standing and walking for long hours and the ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with team members, guests, and management while maintaining thorough documentation and records.

Meyer Jabara Hotels goes beyond business to make a meaningful difference in the community, reflecting its philosophy that success is measured not just by financial results but also by the positive impact on others.
