This is a full-time opportunity for a Safety Coordinator role at Keller. The position offers a competitive salary range of $76,000 to $95,000 per year, which will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications. The role is hands-on and works under the guidance of the Business Unit Safety Manager, primarily focusing on assisting safety and environmental hazard activities within the designated region. The successful candidate will support the Branch Manager to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations, helping to foster a safe workplace culture.
Responsibilities include conducting routine safety inspections, reporting results, and facilitating employee training on a variety of safety and environmental topics. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and addressing unsafe conditions by assisting in the development and enforcement of company safety policies and procedures. The position involves moderate to heavy regional travel and demands proficiency in basic computer applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are preferred to enhance communication within the diverse workforce. Moreover, candidates with prior experience in the construction industry and safety coordination will find this role aligned with their skills. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year hands on experience in safety
- basic computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- ability to travel regionally including heavy travel
- preferred CHST certification
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- construction industry experience preferred

Job Duties
- Assist with directing safety and environmental hazard activities for the region
- assist Branch Manager with ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations
- conduct routine safety inspections as directed by the Business Unit Safety Manager
- report inspection results to the Business Unit Safety Manager
- assist with acquiring resources for corrective action when needed
- conduct and follow up with safety inspections to ensure closure of items identified as unsafe, defective or non-compliant
- facilitate training for employees on a variety of safety and environmental topics as needed
- assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of Company Safety Policies and Procedures
