This role is based at the Courtyard Dayton located at 7087 Miller Lane, Dayton, OH 45414, and it is an hourly position. The House Attendant will play a key role in upholding the property's standards of cleanliness and maintenance, ensuring guest satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and prompt service delivery. This position involves the upkeep of all assigned areas and equipment, as well as the delivery of specific items to guest rooms, such as express checkout materials and newspapers, tailored to the property’s needs.
Responsibilities include a variety of cleaning tasks such as mopping tile floors and shampooing carpets and furniture in public areas to hotel quality standards. The House Attendant will assist guests by handling luggage requests in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner, and manage items in the "Lost and Found" area according to hotel protocols. Additional duties include cleaning guest rooms as needed, maintaining knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, and ensuring that all hotel equipment is kept in proper working order and stored appropriately. Special projects may also be assigned by the Housekeeping Manager to support the team's overall functionality.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
- ability to stand during entire shift

- Mop tile floors according to hotel standards

- shampoo furniture as needed

- have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures
