This position is a part-time role requiring availability for 15 hours weekly, with work shifts scheduled from 8 am to 4 pm. New employees will undergo a mandatory five-day orientation to familiarize themselves with the department’s protocols, safety measures, and operational expectations. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $24.2936.

As a Housekeeping Worker, you'll be performing general cleaning services with responsibilities that include disinfecting and sanitizing all areas of the facility using approved chemicals and techniques. You will be tasked with cleaning areas that range from high traffic lobbies to resident rooms, including high-touch surfaces like handrails, overbed tables, and commodes. In addition, the job entails collecting, disposing, and handling regulated medical waste in compliance with infection control policies. The position also requires moving furniture and equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning and then restoring them to their proper placement. Safety is paramount, and adherence to infection control policies and safe handling of chemicals and equipment will be strictly enforced throughout your duties.
