The Housekeeping department plays a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the property, including guest suites and common areas. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers the chance to develop your leadership skills within a dynamic hotel environment. The Housekeeping Supervisor will hold supervisory responsibilities that are crucial to the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. Key tasks include inspecting guest suites to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and readiness, overseeing laundry and breakfast operations to guarantee efficiency and quality, and managing personnel by counseling and interviewing employees. The role also involves handling guest complaints promptly and effectively, supporting day-to-day administrative tasks, and ensuring that all departmental activities comply with hotel policies and procedures. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency are essential to succeed in this role, as effective coordination with other departments and documentation of housekeeping activities are part of the daily duties. Prior supervisory experience in a hotel setting is highly preferred, supported by at least one year of overall hotel experience. The role demands a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to our guests, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced individuals aiming to advance their career in hospitality supervision.
