Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years experience in housekeeping at a large resort or similar luxury hotel
- ability to work varied shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties and lift supplies
- knowledge of OSHA regulations and proper use of cleaning chemicals
- excellent attention to detail
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills
- ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests
- minimum of two (2) years experience in a large resort
Job Duties
- Clean assigned rooms daily
- service all stay over rooms by changing sheets and pillow covers daily and replenishing towels and amenities as needed
- clean all check out (vacant, dirty) rooms thoroughly by changing sheets, pillow covers, bath rugs, and towels and replenishing amenities as needed
- provide guests with extra towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, note pads, etc., when requested
- fold linen daily
- load cart per specifications
- transport caddie containing supplies, brushes, and rags daily
- use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations
- must be able to clean at least 14 rooms everyday
- perform other related duties as assigned
