Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • prior housekeeping or related experience preferred
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and moving furniture
  • availability to work full-time including days, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to operate a golf cart
  • willingness to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
  • prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic appliances
  • excellent communication and guest service skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • knowledge of safety and emergency response procedures

Job Duties

  • Clean furniture, carpets, ash urns and doors
  • maintain cleanliness of stairwells and corridors by sweeping, dusting, and mopping
  • employ proper use and maintenance of all equipment and supplies
  • operate, clean, and maintain oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator, washer/dryer in villa
  • report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping
  • move beds and furniture as requested
  • put on bed skirts, turn mattresses, and remove or hang sheers and drapes
  • remove trash and soiled linens as requested
  • resupply guest rooms supplies and armoires daily
  • deliver linen from Meadows to the linen closets, including armoires, as needed
  • inventory and ensure the cleanliness of the linen closets
  • offer assistance to guests when requested and as needed
  • deliver and pick-up guest request items when assigned (i.e. irons, ironing boards)
  • make up and deliver cribs and sofa beds
  • respond properly to any Residence Club emergency or safety situation
  • operate a golf cart
  • perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management or staff
