Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- prior housekeeping or related experience preferred
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and moving furniture
- availability to work full-time including days, weekends, and holidays
- ability to operate a golf cart
- willingness to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred
- strong attention to detail
- ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic appliances
- excellent communication and guest service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of safety and emergency response procedures
Job Duties
- Clean furniture, carpets, ash urns and doors
- maintain cleanliness of stairwells and corridors by sweeping, dusting, and mopping
- employ proper use and maintenance of all equipment and supplies
- operate, clean, and maintain oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator, washer/dryer in villa
- report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping
- move beds and furniture as requested
- put on bed skirts, turn mattresses, and remove or hang sheers and drapes
- remove trash and soiled linens as requested
- resupply guest rooms supplies and armoires daily
- deliver linen from Meadows to the linen closets, including armoires, as needed
- inventory and ensure the cleanliness of the linen closets
- offer assistance to guests when requested and as needed
- deliver and pick-up guest request items when assigned (i.e. irons, ironing boards)
- make up and deliver cribs and sofa beds
- respond properly to any Residence Club emergency or safety situation
- operate a golf cart
- perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management or staff
