This role demands physical stamina and agility, including lifting and carrying items up to 55 pounds, pushing loaded housekeeping carts across uneven surfaces, bending, twisting, and moving through confined spaces safely. Maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance while supporting teamwork and effectively communicating with both guests and other departments is essential. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 55 pounds and maneuvering carts
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Basic understanding of cleaning and maintenance procedures

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
  • Identify and report maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas
  • Post caution signs to ensure safety
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture in guest rooms
  • Remove debris, food trays, newspapers, soiled linens, and trash from hallways
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete required safety training and certifications
  • Properly store flammable materials
  • Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance
  • Welcome guests warmly and acknowledge them per company standards
