Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 55 pounds and maneuvering carts
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Basic understanding of cleaning and maintenance procedures
  • Commitment to guest service excellence
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to complete required safety training and certifications

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
  • Identify and report maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas
  • Post caution signs to ensure safety
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture in guest rooms
  • Remove debris, food trays, newspapers, soiled linens, and trash from hallways
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete required safety training and certifications
  • Properly store flammable materials
  • Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance
  • Welcome guests warmly and acknowledge them per company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Support team goals and ensure quality standards
  • Move, lift, carry, and place objects up to 55 pounds unassisted and heavier objects with assistance
  • Push and pull loaded carts over uneven surfaces
  • Perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, reaching, and climbing
  • Inspect tools and equipment for defects
  • Operate safely in confined or elevated spaces
  • Stand, sit, kneel, or walk throughout entire shifts
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
