We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dynamic housekeeping team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. The Housekeeper will assist with tasks such as making beds, replenishing linens and amenities, vacuuming, and ensuring all rooms meet our rigorous standards for cleanliness. Successful candidates will be responsible for notifying management of repair needs and handling guest belongings according to policy. Job Requirements

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Understand and communicate in English
  • Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, and weekends
  • Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching and use of cleaning chemicals
  • Job descriptions and responsibilities are subject to change depending on business needs

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Understand and communicate in English
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and chemical handling
  • Customer service skills to interact politely with guests

Job Duties

  • Greet guests upon interaction with a warm and friendly greeting
  • Change bed linens and vacuum room after housekeeper has cleaned the rest of the room
  • Notify managers concerning the need for repairs in guest rooms
  • Process guest items left in rooms according to lost and found policy
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
