Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for long periods
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to handle cleaning chemicals safely
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests or residents
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment
- Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning supplies safely
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals is a plus
- Previous housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not required
Job Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels with care and efficiency
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces
- Ensure all sanitation standards are met by properly disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and high-touch areas
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for next use
- Respond promptly to guest or resident requests related to housekeeping needs with professionalism and courtesy
- Follow safety procedures related to janitorial work and use of cleaning chemicals to promote a safe environment for all
