We are currently seeking a professional and detail-oriented housekeeper to join our team here at Quality Inn, Akron. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and order within a busy hotel environment. The housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring that all guest areas, including rooms, hallways, stairwells, lobby, breakfast area, elevator, and bathrooms, meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role may begin as part-time, with the potential to increase hours and transition to full-time as the employee demonstrates progress, reliability, and as the hotel moves into the busier summer season and beyond.

The housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning duties such as surface cleaning, disinfecting, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash handling, and laundry. The position requires a strong attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to remain composed under pressure. In addition to cleaning tasks, the housekeeper will also engage with guests professionally and courteously, attend to any special guest requests promptly, and assist other hotel departments as needed to enhance the overall guest experience. Inventory monitoring and safety compliance are also key responsibilities, ensuring that cleaning supplies are sufficiently stocked and that all manual cleaning tasks are performed following safety standards. Reporting maintenance issues and adhering strictly to safety policies and procedures are essential to the role. The housekeeper will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned by management, contributing to the efficient functioning of the hotel.

This job offers a competitive salary range of $20,000 to $24,000 per year. Employment types include full-time and part-time options, with day shifts predominantly.
