Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping services preferred
  • Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Must be motivated team player passionate about working with seniors

Job Duties

  • Dusts, mops, sanitizes, and scrubs resident rooms, restrooms, and common areas on a regular basis
  • Safely mixes and uses cleaning solutions and stores them in a secure area
  • Disposes of trash and waste, including biohazardous waste and materials requiring special handling, in accordance with facility policies and procedures
  • Performs other housekeeping tasks as assigned
