The Room Attendant reports directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor and is compensated at a competitive pay rate of $19.50 per hour. This non-exempt position requires individuals who are dedicated to maintaining high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.
The Room Attendant’s primary responsibility is to ensure guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and other work areas meet the hotel's rigorous cleanliness standards. The role also involves the safe use of approved cleaning chemicals and adherence to all safety protocols, which ensures the health and safety of both guests and staff. Attention to detail and the ability to complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality are essential to success in this role.
In addition to cleaning duties, Room Attendants play an important part in protecting guest property by following hotel protocols and reporting any found items or damages promptly. The role requires physical stamina as it involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly. Flexibility is also key, as the position may require working weekends, evenings, and holidays based on hotel needs.
Stonebridge values team members who demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory, as training on hotel standards and safety guidelines is provided. The company also emphasizes a work environment that supports employees’ well-being through comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) matching, wellness support, life and disability coverage, savings accounts, tuition aid, and other perks.
