Job Description

Hotel Lucile is an upcoming boutique hotel located in the vibrant Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, scheduled to open in late summer 2026. This unique property is housed in a historic 1931 landmark church, blending original architectural elements such as stained glass windows, soaring wooden beams, and a choir loft with modern amenities. The hotel aims to provide guests with an extraordinary experience, featuring a restaurant, bar, rooftop, pool, and a dynamic program of art and community events. Hotel Lucile represents a fusion of history and contemporary hospitality, designed to offer both comfort and cultural engagement in one of Los Angeles' most eclectic neighborhoods.

As a part of this exciting venture, Hotel Lucile is assembling its opening team and inviting applicants to join this innovative hospitality project. The Housekeeper/Room Attendant position is a critical role focused on maintaining cleanliness and comfort throughout the hotel. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy creating welcoming environments, and value attention to detail. As a Housekeeper/Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas, ensuring that all spaces meet the high standards of the hotel brand. This includes making beds, changing linens, replenishing amenities, and performing thorough cleaning tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and deep cleaning on a scheduled basis.

This position offers full-time employment with a competitive wage of $23 per hour. Hotel Lucile also provides comprehensive benefits for full-time employees, including a 401(k) plan with company match, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid holiday and vacation time, maternity and paternity leave, and travel perks with discounts at affiliated hotel properties. Additionally, the hotel emphasizes professional growth through company expansion, leadership development programs, and opportunities for career advancement within the hospitality industry.

The Housekeeper/Room Attendant will collaborate closely with front desk and maintenance staff to ensure seamless guest experiences, promptly responding to guest requests and reporting maintenance issues as needed. Upholding hotel policies for safety, sanitation, and guest privacy is paramount. This role also involves supporting laundry operations by sorting and managing linens to maintain operational efficiency. Working at Hotel Lucile means being part of a community-focused hotel that celebrates art and culture while delivering outstanding service and comfort to its guests. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to contribute to a distinctive hotel opening, this role offers a rewarding opportunity to develop your skills and grow your career in a dynamic environment.
