Our company operates multiple work sites across Boston, MA, specializing in providing high-quality food service facility support. Within the Food Service Building locations at 414 Harrison Ave, 434 Harrison Ave, 444 Harrison Ave, and 363 Albany St, we are committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all staff and visitors. Our team is known for its professionalism and dedication to upholding rigorous sanitation standards in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. We are currently seeking a Housekeeper to join our team on a full-time basis, working 40 hours per week from Wednesday through Sunday, between 6:30 am and 3:00 pm. This role is essential in supporting the overall cleanliness and hygiene of our work environments. The Housekeeper will be responsible for carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly laundering and cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor. This position pays between $20.00 and $21.20 per hour based on experience and skill level, reflecting our commitment to offering competitive compensation.
The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in institutional or commercial cleaning and possess a high school diploma or GED. The ability to read and understand printed labels, signage, and written instructions is crucial to ensure the proper use of cleaning materials and adherence to safety guidelines. Job Duties
- Perform daily laundering and cleaning tasks as assigned by Supervisor
- Adhere to established sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas including floors, surfaces, and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning agents properly
- Complete weekly and monthly cleaning schedules diligently
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to Supervisor
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies
