We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The Housekeeper position plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel’s guest rooms, hallways, and public areas. The successful candidate will ensure that all rooms are cleaned to the highest standards, restock supplies, and contribute to a positive guest experience by maintaining a tidy and inviting environment throughout the property. The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms according to priority schedules, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies. Special attention will also be given to deep cleaning tasks and the careful handling of guest belongings. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good physical health
- Ability to follow instructions and hotel protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently with cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical stamina
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Clean assigned guest rooms by priority including changing soiled linen shower curtains terry and other linens as needed and cleaning all surfaces with the correct equipment and chemicals
- Vacuum entire room and spray with deodorizer
- Inspect and replenish guest supplies such as cups tissues and toiletries as applicable
- Empty and clean coffeemakers and replenish coffee supplies
- Ensure all guest items are removed after check-out and maintain security of guest items for guests who are still checked in
- Realign furniture to floor plan
- Special deep clean areas as needed
- Deliver items as requested by guests
- Dust polish vacuum and clean public areas including offices pool area fitness center lobby and public restrooms
