The role of the PRN Housekeeper at Rehabilitation Hospital of Northwest Ohio is critical in maintaining the hospital’s high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, essential components of patient care and recovery. The PRN Housekeeper is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sterilization tasks that include dusting, mopping, cleaning medicine cabinets, furniture, metals, mirrors, and equipment. This role also involves vacuuming blinds, screens, and vents, as well as replenishing necessary supplies to maintain smooth operational flow. A significant part of the job includes sterilizing rooms after patient isolation, a task that ensures infection control and patient safety. The housekeeper works closely and professionally with other team members, supporting the hospital’s overall care objectives.

Candidates for this role are expected to be knowledgeable of healthcare environmental services procedures and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
