Employing over 2500 dedicated co-workers, the company fosters a supportive and collaborative work environment that values every team member's contribution toward its vision of making lives better. Country Meadows is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE), emphasizing inclusivity and equal access to employment opportunities for everyone.
The role of a Housekeeper at Country Meadows offers the unique opportunity to provide one-on-one support to residents by performing daily cleaning tasks within their rooms. This position is ideal for individuals who appreciate working in a personalized, caring environment where they are treated as guests in their residents' homes, enabling them to build meaningful relationships. The housekeeper also has the responsibility of maintaining cleanliness in common areas such as nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic spaces.
This position is a PRN (pro re nata or as-needed) role during the day shift, offering flexibility in scheduling. Pay starts at $15.50 per hour, with opportunities to earn more depending on experience and performance. Country Meadows deeply values its employees and invests in their professional and personal growth through competitive compensation, length of service bonus awards, and PayActiv On-Demand Pay, allowing staff to get paid promptly.
The company’s robust benefits package includes comprehensive healthcare through Highmark Blue Shield medical coverage, excellent vision and dental plans, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions. Additional perks include generous paid time off with rollover options for unused days, paid holidays including employees' birthdays and Personal Day of Meaning, supplemental life insurance, company-paid short-term disability, and supplemental short- and long-term disability plans.
Beyond financial benefits, Country Meadows supports its team members with family and medical leave, paid bereavement and jury duty leave, wellness reimbursement incentives, and daily meals provided on campus. Employees receive direct access to their supervisory team and enjoy incentivized career paths, tuition reimbursement, as well as on-the-job training and continuing education opportunities.
The company also prioritizes employee well-being with an Employee Assistance Program available for employees and their families, financial support resources including the Co-worker Foundation which offers grants during times of need, and Helping Hand interest-free loans.
In this housekeeper role, individuals will perform housekeeping duties with an emphasis on service orientation, ensuring that all tasks are conducted with respect and care towards residents and fellow coworkers. They will be responsible for following prescribed cleaning schedules and standards, maintaining housekeeping equipment in good condition, and reporting any repair needs. The job requires handling equipment such as washers, dryers, vacuum cleaners, call bells, intercoms, and telephones, necessitating a flexible and proactive work attitude. Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment contributes directly to the quality of life for Country Meadows residents and enhances overall organizational excellence.
