Housekeeper - Morning Shift

As a Housekeeper at Avery Point, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of the community, which is a gated retirement setting that ensures all clients reside within the premises, eliminating the need for travel. This full-time role is scheduled during the morning shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $17, depending on experience. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning residents' homes in independent living areas and resident rooms in the nursing home. Duties include maintaining the cleanliness of community spaces with specialized equipment, cleaning public restrooms, lobbies, living rooms, classrooms, and other common areas by dusting, vacuuming, decluttering, and trash removal. You will also be tasked with spot cleaning walls, windows, switches, baseboards, pictures, lighting fixtures, and HVAC vents to maintain a pristine environment. Additionally, you will maintain carpeted surfaces through extraction, interim cleaning, spot cleaning, drying, and vacuuming, ensuring all areas meet the community’s high standards of cleanliness and safety.
