The Housekeeper Lead position at Crothall Healthcare is a vital role based at Allied Skilled Nursing in Scranton, PA. This full-time role follows a schedule of Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The fixed pay rate is $14.00 per hour. The Housekeeper Lead is responsible for supervising, training, and assessing the performance of housekeeping staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest service within the healthcare environment. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of prior supervisory experience preferred
- availability to work full-time schedule including Monday to Friday and rotating weekends
- ability to work from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to handle guest interaction and conflict resolution
- physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
- willingness to comply with drug-free workplace policy

Job Duties
- provide quality service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- ensure assigned staff have reported to work and clocked in properly
- document late or absent employees
- resolve internal and external guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
- document call offs and replace for any shift
- coordinate assigned staff breaks
- prepare and distribute assignment sheets to staff and review priorities
- communicate additions or changes to the assignment sheets as they arise throughout the shift
- assign designated keys, radios and beepers to assigned staff
- maintain accurate record of such assignments and ensure security of keys
- check all equipment used by staff for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness and mechanical problems
- instruct designated personnel to correct deficiencies
- inspect areas to confirm cleaning standards have been met
- assist staff to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and service
- conduct staff training as assigned
- contribute to the team and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others
- perform other duties as assigned
