This full-time Housekeeper Lead position is based at Arkansas Children's Hospital located at 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR. The role involves supervising, training, and inspecting housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service are met according to the hospital's protocols. The scheduled hours are primarily Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, specifically from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, offering a structured overnight shift. This position carries a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour and requires prior housekeeping experience to ensure competence in managing a busy healthcare environment. The Housekeeper Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining a sanitary and safe environment for patients, families, and hospital staff. Responsibilities include providing detailed oversight of assigned staff, ensuring they adhere to assigned schedules, managing shift logistics such as breaks and replacements, resolving guest complaints, and documenting attendance. - ability to work full time on a rotating shift schedule including nights and weekends
- reliable transportation to Arkansas Children’s Hospital
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods

- willingness to perform physical tasks necessary for housekeeping duties

Job Duties
- Supervises housekeeping staff and inspects cleaning performance
- trains new and existing staff members
- ensures all staff report and clock in properly
- documents employee attendance including late arrivals and absences
- resolves internal and external guest complaints
- manages staff break schedules and organizes shift replacements
- prepares and distributes assignment sheets and communicates any changes
- assigns and tracks keys, radios, and beepers
- inspects equipment for cleanliness and proper functioning
- assists staff in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- conducts staff training sessions
- upholds professionalism and contributes to team goals
- performs additional duties as assigned
