This full-time Housekeeper Lead position is based at Arkansas Children's Hospital located at 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR. The role involves supervising, training, and inspecting housekeeping staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service are met according to the hospital's protocols. The scheduled hours are primarily Monday through Friday with rotating weekends, specifically from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, offering a structured overnight shift. This position carries a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour and requires prior housekeeping experience to ensure competence in managing a busy healthcare environment. The Housekeeper Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining a sanitary and safe environment for patients, families, and hospital staff. Responsibilities include providing detailed oversight of assigned staff, ensuring they adhere to assigned schedules, managing shift logistics such as breaks and replacements, resolving guest complaints, and documenting attendance. The lead will also be responsible for ensuring all cleaning equipment is in optimal condition and assisting staff in achieving cleanliness goals.
