Job Description

Servicon is a family and women-owned local company with over 50 years of experience in providing environmental solutions, specializing in infection prevention for complex facilities such as hospitals and healthcare environments. Our company is committed to delivering responsive and reliable services that quickly meet the needs of both staff and clients. At the heart of Servicon's operations is our Culture of Caring, which is centered around three core pillars: People, Programs, and Performance. These pillars not only embody our values but also guide us in enhancing people’s lives, improving patient care, advancing infection prevention strategies, and boosting operational efficiency within the healthcare sector.

We are currently looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Lead to join our overnight environmental services team at a hospital located in Inglewood, California. This position offers a schedule from Tuesday through Saturday, with overnight hours from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The pay rate for this role is $25.70 per hour. The Housekeeping Lead plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healing environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This leadership position is ideal for an experienced and dependable individual who is passionate about upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within a hospital setting.

The Housekeeping Lead will be responsible for managing and supporting overnight housekeeping staff to ensure that all hospital areas meet established cleanliness and sanitation standards. This role requires the delegation of daily tasks, monitoring of workflow, and providing on-the-job guidance and support to team members. Additionally, the Housekeeping Lead will be actively involved in performing routine cleaning and disinfecting duties in patient rooms, clinical areas, offices, and public spaces. A key component of this job involves ensuring the proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with hospital policies and safety regulations.

The role also includes reporting maintenance issues, supply needs, and staffing concerns to management and serving as the primary point of contact during the overnight shift to resolve any issues promptly. This opportunity not only allows for hands-on leadership experience but also provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on infection prevention and overall patient care in a healthcare environment. We emphasize a workplace culture that is friendly, respectful, and energetic, fostering an environment where employees can thrive and see the tangible difference their work makes daily.

At Servicon, we value our employees and offer competitive benefits such as a safe harbor 401(k) with company matching, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and opportunities for career development through leadership roles. Join us to become part of a company where your work contributes directly to better healthcare outcomes and the well-being of those in the communities we serve.
