Housekeeper - Independent Living Services

The department is focused on delivering high-quality housekeeping and support services that maintain cleanliness, safety, and comfort within residents' homes. This full-time Housekeeper position is an integral part of the team, responsible for ensuring that independent living spaces remain clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Working from Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, this role is vital in assisting residents with household duties, thereby fostering a safe and pleasant living environment that meets their daily needs.

As the Housekeeper, you will be tasked with performing a variety of cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing bathrooms and kitchens, including appliances, and dusting. Attention to detail is crucial in this role to maintain the high standards expected by Panorama and its residents. Additionally, you will be responsible for changing linens and doing laundry as requested, contributing further to the residents’ comfort and hygiene. Reporting any emergencies immediately and noting any unusual observations for supervisor review is a critical part of ensuring resident safety and well-being. Beyond physical housekeeping duties, this role also encompasses some administrative tasks such as completing time sheets, receipt reconciliation, and billing slips, which are essential for accurate record-keeping and operational efficiency. The position demands strong mental focus due to the need for prioritization, accuracy, and clarity in daily tasks. Physical requirements for the role include the ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly, with occasional assistance required for heavier lifting, and performing tasks involving balance, climbing, grasping, kneeling, pulling, pushing, reaching, and repetitive movements. The Housekeeper will work in varied environmental conditions that include exposure to inside and outside hazards, along with chemical and respiratory risks, necessitating adherence to safety protocols to mitigate these hazards. This position requires a valid driver's license, automobile access with appropriate insurance, a high school diploma or GED, and preferably previous housekeeping experience.
