As a part of this impactful mission, Job Options Inc. is currently hiring for a part-time Housekeeper position on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends, holidays, and shifts as needed. This role is essential in maintaining hygiene, safety, and an attractive atmosphere within the hospital environment. The starting hourly rate is $18.95, with additional incentives such as a $1,000 signing bonus provided in three scheduled payments for eligible individuals with disabilities. The bonus is structured as $250 after 30 days, $250 after 180 days, and $500 after the work anniversary. Eligibility requires verification of a qualifying diagnosis by a licensed medical professional.

The Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning and supplying patient rooms, wards, nursing stations, offices, bathrooms, and other relevant areas as directed by the Housekeeping Department. The role demands an ability to use appropriate cleaning chemicals tailored to a variety of surfaces, including vinyl, painted surfaces, ceramic tile, metal, brick, wood, cork, and concrete floors, while also applying finishing techniques that preserve floor integrity and appearance. The Housekeeper must ensure a sanitary, orderly, and visually pleasant environment complying with hospital standards and safety protocols.

In addition to routine cleaning tasks such as dusting horizontal surfaces and equipment upkeep, the individual is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned equipment and promptly reporting any necessary repairs in equipment, furniture, fixtures, or building infrastructure. Adherence to company rules, technical procedures, and safety policies communicated in English is a mandatory part of the role.

This position requires strong punctuality, regular attendance, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Communication skills are critical as the Housekeeper may interact with hospital staff, visitors, and coworkers. The role also involves following detailed instructions and applying common sense reasoning to problem-solving in standardized situations.

Candidates must complete federal fingerprint and electronic application background checks and provide signed verification of receiving the job description. U.S. citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for background verification and base access. Job Duties
