The organization is dedicated to providing meaningful employment opportunities by producing quality products and services to federal government clients. As an active participant in this program, Job Options Inc. emphasizes inclusivity and equal opportunity employment, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their background or abilities, have access to fulfilling career paths and a supportive work environment. The organization adheres strictly to federal guidelines and promotes a culture of respect, safety, and ongoing professional development for its employees. The current opening falls under the Environmental Services department, specifically supporting the crucial housekeeping operations within healthcare settings such as hospitals and surgical centers.

The role of Housekeeping Aid I/Janitorial is pivotal in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the Operating Room area of healthcare facilities. This full-time position requires the candidate to work various schedules, including weekday afternoons and weekend shifts, reflecting the continuous need for cleanliness in medical environments. The primary responsibility involves performing routine cleaning and sanitization of hospital wards, patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, offices, and other designated areas. Candidates will utilize an array of cleaning devices and approved hospital-grade chemicals to ensure all surfaces and floors are spotless and free from contaminants. Maintaining rigorous sanitation protocols and adhering to safety guidelines is paramount, given the sensitive nature of surgical settings where infection control is critical.

Attention to detail is vital to eliminate dust and debris, promote a uniform appearance throughout the facility, and maintain equipment cleanliness. This role demands both physical stamina and the ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately. Effective communication skills and professionalism are also required, as team members interact with hospital staff, patients, and visitors. Employees will undergo necessary OSHA and Health and Safety Code training relevant to sanitation and infectious disease standards. Compliance with safety procedures and completion of background investigations are mandatory conditions for the role.

Job Options Inc. supports its employees through comprehensive internal training, mentorship programs, and career growth opportunities, encouraging those in this role to develop professionally and expand their skills. Candidates should be prepared to handle physical demands such as walking, standing, frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, and using fine motor skills.
