Job Description
Century Park Associates is a reputable assisted living community dedicated to providing an enriching lifestyle for senior residents in a compassionate and supportive environment. Known for its commitment to excellence, respect, and outstanding service, Century Park fosters a unique atmosphere where trust, leadership, and personal ethics are deeply valued by all its associates. The organization prides itself on a "people come first" approach, ensuring that both residents and team members alike are treated with dignity and care. Team members at Century Park Associates go beyond their regular duties, fostering meaningful connections and contributing positively to the community each day. Their collective efforts promote the well-being and growth of the seniors they serve, encouraging continued learning and personal contribution within a safe and engaging living environment.
The PRN Housekeeper/Concierge position at Century Park Associates is designed to provide essential coverage during call-offs and vacations, ensuring that the high standards of housekeeping and concierge services remain uninterrupted. This role is an integral part of the assisted living community, requiring a person who genuinely enjoys working with seniors and understands the unique dynamics involved in supporting their daily lives. Flexibility is key in this position, as it is a PRN (pro re nata) or as-needed role where coverage is provided on a fill-in basis.
The Housekeeper responsibilities involve a hospitality-focused approach to cleaning and maintenance, which ensures that residential units and common areas are kept pristine and welcoming for all residents. The role demands diligence in using appropriate cleaning products and techniques, attending to areas such as occupied and vacant units, patios, decks, common areas, offices, and shared facilities like dining rooms, lounges, and laundry areas. Beyond housekeeping, this position also encompasses concierge duties, which require proficiency with computers and phone systems to effectively manage resident requests and communications.
While previous housekeeping or healthcare experience is preferred, Century Park Associates is willing to provide training for those with no prior experience, emphasizing the importance of a willingness to learn and adapt. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrate qualities like patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm. Additionally, the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and uphold the organization's Code of Ethics is essential to succeed in this role.
The starting wage for this position is $15.50 per hour, with potential adjustments based on experience. Century Park Associates values its employees and offers a positive, supportive work environment where personal and professional growth is encouraged. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing exceptional service, enjoys serving seniors, and seeks flexible work opportunities within a respectful and caring community.
