As part of the larger Compass Group, a global leader in foodservice and support services, TouchPoint’s mission centers around serving with quality, care, and excellence to enhance patient, family, and visitor experiences during critical moments. Located at St John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, TouchPoint is committed to creating clean, comfortable, and healing environments through its attentive and compassionate staff. This reflects their deep care for people and dedication to building a sense of belonging within healthcare facilities.
The Housekeeper position at TouchPoint Support Services is a full-time role, offering a stable work schedule from Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday with varying hours to accommodate hospital needs. The pay rate is a fixed $15.00 per hour, indicating a competitive wage for the region. This role is ideal for those who have previous housekeeping experience or those willing to learn, as TouchPoint emphasizes training and professional growth. The organization looks for individuals who are passionate about serving others and are motivated by making a positive impact on patients’ lives through cleanliness and attention to detail.
Housekeepers at TouchPoint perform essential cleaning duties that maintain the cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of medical facilities, including patient rooms, public areas, and corridors. Their responsibilities encompass tasks such as making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, sanitizing washrooms, and properly disposing of trash. Beyond physical cleaning, the role demands a commitment to customer service, requiring the housekeeper to attentively respond to patient and visitor needs and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, necessitating flexibility and teamwork to ensure that all housekeeping requests and issues, such as spills or broken glass, are addressed promptly.
TouchPoint’s culture values the interpersonal skills of its associates, encouraging collaboration, mutual support, and enthusiasm. Employees receive numerous benefits including health and wellness programs, retirement plans, employee assistance programs, and additional voluntary benefits like insurance options and commuter benefits. By working at TouchPoint, employees become part of a compassionate team that not only champions cleanliness and order but also contributes directly to the healing journey of vulnerable populations.
This role is more than just a housekeeping job; it is a vital service that enhances the healthcare environment and supports the overall mission of improving health outcomes for the underserved. Candidates who enjoy helping others, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a service-oriented atmosphere will find TouchPoint a rewarding career destination. Applications are accepted online on an ongoing basis until all openings are filled, and the company encourages those declined to reapply for future opportunities. Thorough background screening policies help ensure a safe and trustworthy workforce, consistent with the facility’s standards.
