Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • Housekeeping experience in health care setting desired
  • Ability to follow established cleaning protocols
  • Physical capability to perform housekeeping duties
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with residents respectfully
  • Good interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety regulations
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Perform daily housekeeping activities in compliance with federal,state,and local long-term care standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of resident areas and common spaces
  • Follow department guidelines as directed by the supervisor or department director
  • Ensure community environment is comfortable and home-like for residents
  • Support the resident-first culture through person-centered care
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
  • Assist with inventory and proper handling of cleaning supplies
