Job Requirements
- ability to speak, read and write documents in English
- ability to understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) pertaining to use and handling of chemicals
- ability to interact with patients, other customers, co-workers, and physicians in a courteous, service oriented manner
- high school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- previous housekeeping, janitorial or related experience preferred
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- must submit resume with previous work history or complete employment history on application

Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect hospital patient rooms, surgical and procedural areas, laboratories, offices, and halls
- maintain supplies and order necessary equipment
- properly handle and dispose of biohazardous waste
- follow safety protocols including use of personal protective equipment for COVID-19 patient areas
- interact courteously with patients, co-workers, and medical staff
- assist in safeguarding hospital environment from infection
- participate in training and education related to infection control
