Job Description
Our healthcare facility is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a safe and welcoming environment. As a reputable healthcare institution, we prioritize the health and comfort of our patients, visitors, and staff by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across all areas of our facility. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our investment in cutting-edge environmental services and the professional development of our team. Joining our team means becoming part of an organization that values integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement to enhance the overall patient experience.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeper (Environmental Services Associate) to join our team on a per diem basis during the night shift. This critical role offers a pay range of $18.00 to $23.00 hourly and demands a strong commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and the maintenance of a sanitary environment. As an Environmental Services Associate, you will be instrumental in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming space for everyone within our healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, common areas, and staff spaces while adhering to strict environmental services standards and infection control protocols.
Under the supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with team members and Group Leaders to ensure consistent high standards are met. Your role will support patient flow and overall hospital operations by responding promptly to cleaning requests, restocking supplies, and maintaining organized work environments. You will be expected to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent customer service and interpersonal skills while interacting respectfully with patients, visitors, and staff.
This position is ideal for candidates who possess a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services, especially in a healthcare setting, is highly advantageous. We encourage candidates who strive to uphold cleanliness excellence and contribute to patient safety to apply for this important role.
In return, we offer a stable and essential position within a healthcare environment characterized by a collaborative and supportive team culture. There are opportunities for training and professional growth within our Environmental Services department, allowing you to develop your skills and advance your career. By joining us, you become part of a team that plays a vital role in supporting the quality of patient care and ensuring a healthy and safe environment for all.
