Located in Wichita, KS at The Rushwood Senior Living, the full-time Housekeeper position offers a starting wage of $17.00 per hour with a weekday shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Job Requirements
- must be at least eighteen years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- maintain a positive and energetic attitude
- professional in appearance and conduct
- physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
- able to lift and move items up to 25 pounds and push/pull a wheeled housekeeping cart
- good health as verified by a health screening
- must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis
- criminally cleared

Job Duties
- make each room a home by providing housekeeping services for residents
- be the master of the mise en scene by ensuring each area from the lobby to the employee break room is tidy and clean
- maintain cleanliness and organization of all common areas
- support the comfort and safety of residents through diligent housekeeping practices
- operate and manage housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment safely
- follow company policies and procedures related to health and safety standards
- contribute to a positive work environment by engaging respectfully with residents and team members
