The role of Housekeeper at Belmont Village Senior Living is integral to maintaining the hygiene, safety, and welcoming atmosphere of the community’s residential and common areas. This full-time position typically operates from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., focusing on tasks essential to the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the community. The ideal Housekeeper is a reliable and compassionate individual with a genuine pride in their work, adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Empathy and strong communication skills are critical, as this role involves frequent interaction with senior residents and guests, requiring a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. Core responsibilities include the cleaning and sanitation of resident apartments, bathrooms, hallways, administrative offices, and community spaces. This involves dusting, vacuuming, bed making, laundering resident linens, removing trash, restocking bathroom supplies, and ensuring all areas reflect a fresh, tidy, and hospitable environment. Exceptional hospitality and customer service are prioritized, with every interaction aiming to enhance resident satisfaction and comfort.
