This role is a full-time Housekeeper position within the Atria community. It involves ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall maintenance of community interiors and individual resident apartments. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping tasks including vacuuming, dusting, laundry, and deep cleaning of designated spaces to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming home-like atmosphere. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities as a server where the employee will interact directly with residents by serving meals, taking food orders, and clearing and resetting dining areas. This dual-function role is vital in enhancing the day-to-day experience of residents by maintaining the physical environment and providing courteous dining services.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- Capability to work full-time hours
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Basic computer competency
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Effective communication in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain up to four orders simultaneously
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the Community as a whole and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning common areas
- Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, and ensure adequate linen supplies in apartments
- Perform deep cleaning tasks focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens using provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests, serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from cart
- Take meal orders, serve meals and desserts, and assist with storage of perishable items
- Bus and clear dishes after meals, sanitize tables and chairs, and reset dining areas
- Complete side work including replenishing sugar holders, cleaning coffeemaker, and maintaining dining cart
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
