As a Housekeeper at Marriott Vacations Worldwide, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that define the MVW guest experience. The role is essential to ensuring that every villa is spotless and welcoming, providing guests with a memorable stay. Responsibilities include cleaning entire villas thoroughly, including kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms, all according to the company’s established standards. Housekeepers ensure all guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items are replenished thoughtfully and accurately. This position also involves effective communication with management and other departments, reporting room status, and ensuring all supplies and cleaning equipment are properly maintained and stocked.

Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Lift, carry, push, and pull items that weigh up to 25lbs without assistance
- Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
- Willingness to adhere to safety and company policies
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Cleans the entirety of villas including kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms according to standards
- Completes assigned rooms and tasks within the scheduled shift
- Replaces all guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items according to standards
- Reports room status to the main linen room, housekeeping manager/supervisor, or front desk
- Fills the housekeeping cart/caddy with all necessary supplies/chemicals, transports the cart/caddy to the rooms, and returns the cart to the designated area at the end of the shift
- Follows all company policies and procedures
- reports any maintenance problems, safety hazards, and/or accidents
- Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs
- Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
- Contribute to team goals
- Always follow company policies and safety procedures
