Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- strong attention to detail
- reliable and punctual
- physical ability to perform strenuous tasks
- ability to work independently and in a team
- availability for 2nd shift including some weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, medical or facility setting experience a plus
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
- strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
- reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to perform strenuous tasks and maintain productivity during shift hours
Job Duties
- Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to maintain assigned areas
- perform a variety of cleaning tasks including high dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and floor care
- use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively in accordance with company and OSHA standards
- maintain a clean and organized storage area for supplies and equipment
- operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly
- communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support daily operations
- adhere to safety standards and company policies to ensure a secure work environment
- perform additional custodial tasks and related duties as assigned
