The resort prides itself on its remarkable team of employees who share a passion for the mountains and the outdoors, contributing to an engaging and dynamic work atmosphere. Snowbird provides a range of employment opportunities including full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions, catering to diverse career paths and schedules within the hospitality and resort industry.

The Houseperson position at Snowbird, based in the Iron Blosam Lodge, is a full-time, hourly role designed for individuals enthusiastic about maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests. This year-round role offers the opportunity to work varying shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, dependent on business needs. Responsibilities include dusting furniture, vacuuming and buffing floors, scrubbing bathrooms, emptying trash, picking up spills, and delivering guest amenities like rollaway beds and cribs.

This role also involves carrying out deep cleaning projects that contribute to the overall maintenance and pristine condition of the hotel. Successful candidates are expected to be reliable, mature, and capable of working independently, exercising good judgment within policy guidelines, and being proactive during slow periods. With a focus on teamwork and operational awareness, Housepersons must demonstrate basic competency in communication and interpersonal skills and have an understanding of the resort’s operations to ensure seamless service.
