As a leading player in the hotel industry, HHM Hotels focuses on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and sustainability to ensure guests feel comfortable and valued during their stay. The company embraces a culture of inclusivity and equal opportunity, fostering an environment where every team member can thrive and contribute to the shared mission of hospitality excellence. Known for its dedication to sustainable hotel management practices through initiatives such as the EarthView program, HHM Hotels integrates environmental consciousness into daily operations to support a greener future. This approach not only enhances operational efficiency but also resonates with guests who value eco-friendly travel options.

The House Person role at HHM Hotels is integral to the smooth functioning of the housekeeping department and overall guest satisfaction. This position is designed for individuals who take pride in keeping public areas clean, organized, and inviting, reflecting the hotel's brand and guest service standards. House Persons play a crucial role in supporting room attendants and supervisors by managing public spaces, hallways, and back-of-house areas, ensuring that all guest-facing environments are immaculate and welcoming.

In this role, the House Person greets guests warmly while performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that maintain the hotel’s appearance and hygiene. Responsibilities include inspecting assigned areas, disposing of trash properly, vacuuming and dusting corridors, and handling linen logistics by collecting soiled linens and distributing clean ones. Additionally, the House Person reports maintenance issues promptly to help preserve the hotel’s facilities and works as a room attendant when needed, especially during peak periods or staff shortages.

The House Person position offers a clear career growth path within HHM Hotels. Employees can advance to roles such as Housekeeping Supervisor, Guest Service Agent, Executive Housekeeper, or Front Office Manager, providing excellent opportunities for professional development and leadership. The company values team members who adhere to safety guidelines, practice sustainable workflows, and demonstrate a commitment to service excellence. House Persons are expected to contribute positively to guest satisfaction scores by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer interaction.

Working as a House Person at HHM Hotels requires physical stamina, careful attention to detail, and a proactive approach to guest service and hotel upkeep. The role is dynamic and may involve varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts, highlighting the need for adaptability. Employees must be able to handle physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and walking extended distances and familiarize themselves with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols compliant with OSHA and MSDS standards.

Those interested in joining HHM Hotels as a House Person will find a workplace that champions teamwork, respect, and equal opportunity. The company’s core beliefs emphasize people as the organization's greatest capability, with a focus on hearts that serve and a commitment to excellence. The ability to stay nimble and take ownership of one’s duties empowers employees to contribute meaningfully to HHM Hotels' reputation as a preferred hospitality employer and service provider.
