Job Requirements
- 2+ years as a chef or 4+ years in high-volume cooking
- servsafe manager certification required
- servsafe specialty allergen certification required or within 30 days of hire
- background check required before employment
- strong leadership skills
- strong communication skills
- strong time-management skills
- familiarity with special diets such as gluten-free and vegan
- flexible schedule required including occasional evenings and weekends
- ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- ability to turn, twist, bend, reach, and stoop
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- lead and support kitchen staff
- participate directly in meal production
- develop and execute menus in collaboration with SCFS standards and client preferences
- place orders using provided guides and receive/check inventory
- track food and labor costs
- manage inventory and maintain proper food levels
- attend planning meetings with clients and house directors
