The Cambria Hotel Philadelphia Downtown Center City is a distinguished member of the Pyramid Global Hospitality family, located in the bustling heart of Philadelphia. This modern establishment features 223 stylish guest rooms complemented by 2,200 square feet of versatile meeting space, making it an ideal destination for business travelers, special events, and guests seeking exceptional hospitality experiences. We are currently seeking a part-time House Attendant to join our dedicated Housekeeping team at the Cambria Hotel Philadelphia Downtown Center City. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel, directly influencing guest satisfaction and loyalty. As a House Attendant, you will be the 'Heart of the House,' ensuring that public spaces are immaculate and supporting room attendants to provide a welcoming and spotless environment for our guests.

Your responsibilities will include engaging with guests to ensure their needs are met, working collaboratively with the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness standards, and managing the collection and disposal of trash and soiled linen throughout your shift. You will play a key role in replenishing linens and guest amenities across the floors, delivering requested items such as towels and cribs to guest rooms, and assisting with room attendant duties during peak times, including heavy lifting for spring cleaning projects.

This position requires great attention to detail and a dedication to guest service, as the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel are crucial factors that influence guest experiences and recommendations.   • Lift, carry and position loads of at least 25lbs

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
  • Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness
  • Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen
  • Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry
  • Deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to the guest rooms on requests
  • Perform duties of room attendant when necessary
  • Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry
  • Help the room attendants with the heavy lifting when super cleaning/spring cleaning of rooms
  • Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures
  • Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner
  • Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members
