Job Description

Ascent Hospitality is a distinguished hospitality company known for its extensive portfolio of hotels and a robust pipeline of new properties and acquisitions. With a strong foundation built on prioritizing people over numbers, Ascent Hospitality fosters a culture that delivers memorable experiences not only to its guests but also to its Team Members. The company's core values emphasize collaboration, mutual respect, and delivering exceptional service to create a unified and dynamic work environment. This forward-thinking hospitality group seeks individuals who thrive in team settings and share a passion for serving others, communicate effectively, and embrace challenges and changes with a proactive attitude. This commitment to excellence and teamwork drives the success and continued growth of Ascent Hospitality's properties.

The role available is that of a House Attendant, a vital position within the housekeeping department. The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest floors and public spaces in the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, corridors, elevators, stairways, restrooms, and sometimes fitness centers and meeting rooms. This position supports room attendants by stocking carts with linens and supplies, transporting laundry, assisting with heavy lifting, and ensuring that the hotel's appearance meets the high standards that guests expect. Reporting directly to the Director or Manager of Housekeeping, Operations Managers, or General Manager, the House Attendant plays a key role in enhancing the guest experience through meticulous attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness.

The role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, reflecting Ascent Hospitality's commitment to its employees. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance options, a 401k retirement plan with employer matching, paid time off, uniforms provided for most positions, and a Team Member Hotel Discount Program. This position necessitates physical stamina, the ability to work flexible shifts including holidays, and excellent customer service skills. Candidates are expected to have a professional demeanor, solid organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The House Attendant position is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to build or further a career in hospitality while contributing to a positive and guest-focused team environment.
