Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
One month related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple English
Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Ability to understand parking and time rate systems
Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 100 pounds
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Availability to work AM or PM shifts
Ability to drive safely and cautiously
Excellent communication skills
Ability to follow established practices and procedures
Valid driver’s license must be current and applicable to the work location

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Must hold a valid driver’s license for the state applied to or within a commutable distance
One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services
Ability to read and write standard English
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information one-on-one or in small group situations
Ability to add, subtract three digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds
Ability to perform operations using units of American money
Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers and clients
Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet with a professional and friendly demeanor
Use guest last names during interactions
Use salutation of the day and welcome guests to the location
Practice proper phone etiquette
Post up in designated areas when not completing tasks
Park and retrieve vehicles while driving slowly and cautiously
Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed
Open all vehicle and hotel doors for guests
Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations and other inquiries
Provide guests with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities of the facility as well as main attractions in the area
Deliver messages, items and/or guest amenities as requested
Shuttle guests to appropriate places approved by the location
Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival
Issue claim checks only after receiving vehicle keys and collect claim checks from all guests prior to issuing keys
Complete and maintain all ticket information including key tag, guest folio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim check receipt
Consistently complete location on all key tags after parking vehicle
Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed
