The Guest Service Associate role at Towne Park is designed for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and customer service. This position plays a crucial part in delivering outstanding guest experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient services. The role primarily involves parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely and promptly, assisting with luggage handling during arrivals and departures, and offering information and assistance to guests regarding facilities, transportation, and local attractions. Employment for this position is on an AM/PM shift basis, with compensation commensurate with job-related skills, experience, and location. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in various insurance plans and the company's 401(k) retirement savings program, subject to eligibility requirements.

As a Guest Service Associate, you will maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor, greeting guests warmly by name and ensuring courteous communication. This includes explaining parking rates and procedures, issuing claim checks, and accurately documenting vehicle information for efficient retrieval. Your responsibilities extend to assisting guests with directions, reservations, and shuttle services, contributing to a positive overall experience. The job entails working primarily outdoors, requiring physical stamina to handle tasks such as assisting guests with luggage, driving vehicles slowly and cautiously, and performing duties in varying weather conditions. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • One month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of customer and personal services
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with American money
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time
  • Ability to understand rates applicable to time
  • Ability to operate manual transmission desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or within commutable distance
  • One month related experience or equivalent education and training
  • Knowledge of customer and personal service principles
  • Ability to read write and comprehend simple English instructions
  • Ability to effectively present information to guests and staff
  • Basic math skills including addition subtraction multiplication division using American money
  • Understanding of 24-hour and military time systems
  • Understanding of applicable rates
  • Ability to operate manual transmission highly desirable
  • Skill in parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant friendly and professional demeanor with guests co-workers and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using guest last names
  • Use proper phone etiquette and post in designated areas when not completing tasks
  • Park and retrieve vehicles while driving cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage
  • Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests
  • Assist guests with directions taxis reservations and inquiries
  • Provide information about facility amenities and local attractions
  • Deliver messages items and guest amenities as requested
  • Shuttle guests to approved locations
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures
  • Issue and collect claim checks after receiving keys
  • Complete and maintain all ticket information and damage surveys
  • Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when necessary
