The company prides itself on its team-oriented culture, where employees are valued and provided with opportunities for growth and development within the hospitality industry. Towne Park offers competitive and fair compensation packages tailored to employee skills, experience, and local market conditions, emphasizing a balanced work-life experience for their staff.
The role of Guest Service Associate at Towne Park is designed for individuals passionate about providing courteous, attentive, and reliable hospitality services to guests. This position typically has an hourly pay range of $10 to $11 plus an additional $12 to $14 per hour in tips, reflecting the value placed on exemplary service and guest interaction. Employment typically requires open availability based on hotel operational demands, and employees selected for this position will engage in a variety of tasks that directly impact guest satisfaction and the smooth functioning of parking services.
As a Guest Service Associate, the primary focus is on delivering consistent, friendly interactions with all guests, demonstrating professionalism and tact that enhance the company’s reputation. Associates are responsible for warmly greeting guests, addressing them respectfully with their last names, and maintaining a positive demeanor throughout all interactions. Key responsibilities include safely parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting guests with luggage and bell services upon arrival and departure, providing directions, handling guest inquiries, and managing parking transactions accurately. The role requires the ability to drive vehicles cautiously, adhere to parking protocols, and uphold safety standards at all times.
The position demands physical stamina, as associates spend extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and cold, and must be capable of exerting physical effort when handling luggage and moving vehicles. Attention to detail is crucial, especially when recording vehicle information, issuing claim checks, and calculating charges. Effective communication skills are essential for answering guest questions about amenities, local attractions, and services in a manner that adds value to the guest experience.
Employees in this role have access to a benefits program that includes accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine services, and participation in a 401k retirement savings plan, depending on job classification and hours worked. Seasonal or temporary employees may not be eligible for these benefits. Towne Park fosters an inclusive work environment where reasonable accommodations are made for individuals with disabilities to perform all essential functions successfully. Candidates interested in this role should have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license applicable to their work location, with some prior related experience or training preferred to ensure readiness for the responsibilities involved.
Overall, the Guest Service Associate position at Towne Park is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to grow their careers in hospitality while delivering superior service in a dynamic, guest-focused environment. It is a role that requires a blend of interpersonal skills, operational knowledge, and physical capability, providing rewarding experiences and a chance to contribute positively to guests’ travel experiences.
