The role of Room Attendant at Regency Hotel Management is integral to maintaining the high standards of guest experience for which the company is known. Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring guestrooms are clean, attractive, and well-maintained, thereby playing a crucial role in guest satisfaction and the hotel's overall reputation. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, an ability to work efficiently and independently, and a courteous, service-oriented attitude. This role involves working weekends and holidays to accommodate the needs of hotel guests, reflecting the dynamic and customer-focused nature of the hospitality industry.

Room Attendants will manage housekeeping carts stocked with cleaning supplies, handle bed linens, and ensure rooms are vacuumed, dusted, and cleaned to stringent hotel standards. They will also be responsible for inspecting rooms for safety hazards and malfunctioning equipment, reporting any issues to supervisors promptly. Preparations for guest arrivals and responding to special requests are part of the daily duties, ensuring guests receive personalized and attentive service. Additionally, Room Attendants document room status accurately and assist with any other assigned duties to support seamless hotel operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Load housekeeping carts with all necessary supplies
  • strip all beds in checked-out rooms and drop all dirty linens to the laundry
  • obtain executive housekeeper’s signature on work assignment sheet
  • vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards and in a timely manner
  • inspect room for safety hazards and for the operating conditions of equipment
  • check for damaged linens
  • report lost and found articles and maintenance problems to a supervisor
  • prepare rooms for guest arrivals and respond to special guest requests
  • record room status on work assignment sheets
  • other duties as assigned
