Currently, Arbor Lodging is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager for their Candlewood Suites property based near Louisville Airport in Louisville, KY. A vital aspect of the role involves driving continuous improvement in staff training, team engagement, and operational practices to enhance guest experiences and encourage repeat visits. The Hotel Manager will build strong working relationships across all hotel departments, promote transparency, and ensure timely follow-up on delegated tasks. Proactive issue resolution and data-driven problem solving will help maintain smooth operations and prevent disruptions. The ability to attentively address guest and staff concerns professionally will foster a positive environment throughout the property.

Arbor Lodging’s successful Hotel Manager candidates typically have at least five years of progressively responsible roles in the hotel industry, coupled with a college degree preferably in hotel management or a related field. Strong leadership skills, experience managing large teams, excellent time management, and the ability to delegate responsibilities effectively are essential. A history of producing favorable financial results aligned with budget goals is also expected.

This role aligns with Arbor Lodging’s Five Guiding Principles — Doing the Right Thing, Leading with Heart, Being Accountable, Aiming Higher, and Celebrating Differences — which shape the company culture and set expectations for all employees.
